The International Journal of Recycling of Organic Waste in Agriculture is a single-blind peer-reviewed open access journal published under the brand SpringerOpen, covering all aspects of recycling of organic waste. It is fully supported by the Islamic Azad University, who provide funds to cover all costs of publication, including the Article Processing Charges (APC’s) for all authors. Therefore the journal is both free to read and free to publish in.

The journal publishes high-quality original, review and short comment articles, in all areas of recycling of organic waste including: Solid waste reuse in agriculture ; Waste water reuse in agriculture; Utilization of organic wastes: composting; Ways to reduce, reuse and recycle organic waste ; Social and economic impact of reduction, reuse and recycling of organic waste in agriculture ; Methods to raise the public awareness of recycling and reuse of organic waste in agriculture ; Organic waste utilization in animal and poultry nutrition ;
Urban food waste composting.

The Rice-Based Biosystems Journal encourages publication of original research article, review article, commentary, case report and short communication that have impact on applied and integrated rice and rice-based cropping systems in a particular ecosystem. The Journal provides information on rice-based researches on soil and crop improvement, resource use efficiency, biofertilizers, biopesticides, biomaterials, machinery, food processing and high-value pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals. It also covers systems analysis and simulation, economics, social and communication systems that influence the landscape of rice and rice-based cropping systems.

The ASEAN Digital Library is a regional project to aggregate and connect the digitised resources of National Libraries in the ASEAN region so that these repositories can be accessed through a single search facility.

ADL will be a boon to users and researchers. In addition, ADL provides global exposure and visibility of ASEAN content; and engages citizens of ASEAN nations in sharing and learning about their cultures and heritage; thus nurturing an appreciation of the ASEAN Identity.

ADL is a project led by the National Library Board of Singapore, with support from the ASEAN Committee on Culture and Information (COCI).


DISASTER RISK MANAGEMENT

“International Journal of Disaster Risk Science (IJDRS) is a fully sponsored, peer-reviewed open access journal published under the brand SpringerOpen. It addresses theoretical and methodological issues in all areas of disaster risk science, policy, and practice. Coverage includes case studies and research comparing responses to major disasters worldwide.

IJDRS promotes Future Earth – Integrated Risk Governance Project research. This includes revealing the dynamic processes of disaster risk; using case studies and comparative analyses to establish risk governance models targeting disasters that might exceed capacities; refining modeling tools; and fostering integrated disaster risk science that meets the challenges of sustainable development.

The journal is a platform for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers, which aims to improve international, national, and regional capacities for disaster risk analysis, management, and governance.

The publication costs for IJDRS are covered by Beijing Normal University and the China Association for Science and Technology so authors do not need to pay an article-processing charge. (Click to read more)
